MooHerd (“the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding your data.
Information We Collect
MooHerd is designed to help you manage your cattle records.
The App may store information that you voluntarily enter, including:
- Animal names and identifiers
- Health records
- Vaccination records
- Treatment history
- Weight records
- Notes
- Photos you choose to attach to animals
- Reminder dates
All information is entered by you.
Local Storage
Your herd data is stored locally on your device.
MooHerd does not transmit your cattle records to our servers.
Photos
If you choose to attach photos to an animal, the App will request permission to access your photo library.
Photos are used only within the App and are stored locally on your device.
Notifications
If enabled, MooHerd uses local notifications to remind you about:
- Vaccinations
- Treatments
- Scheduled health events
These notifications are generated on your device.
Purchases
Premium features are offered through Apple’s In-App Purchase system.
Payments are processed entirely by Apple.
MooHerd does not receive or store your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID credentials.
Analytics
At this time, MooHerd does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or usage tracking information.
Third-Party Services
The App currently uses Apple’s services for:
- In-App Purchases
- Local Notifications
No advertising SDKs are included.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
Data Security
Your data remains on your device. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and keeping appropriate backups if desired.
Children’s Privacy
MooHerd is intended for livestock management and is not directed toward children under the age of 13.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date above.
